About the Project
The idea for this original project came from an exercise in the Essential Motion Design course at the animation and design school Layer Lemonade.
The colors and shapes of the project are inspired by Chinese and Japanese art in vector form with a vintage style. By combining gradients with text in English and Japanese, the piece achieves a unique tone. Additionally, the sci-fi (science fiction) theme was explored in a milder way to align with the adopted style. The result presents a futuristic world that is not apocalyptic—as is often portrayed in other works—but instead more vibrant and colorful.
